We’re thrilled to announce the successful completion of the Infusion Accounting Software Partner Conference 2024, held at the beautiful Novotel Hamilton Tainui in Hamilton. This year’s conference was designed to strengthen our partner relationships, discuss our product roadmap, and highlight our ongoing migration from the Infusion Desktop app to the Infusion Browser version. Over two engaging days, we shared valuable insights, demoed new features, and gathered feedback to guide our future development.
Day 1: Setting the Stage for Cloud Migration
The event kicked off with a warm welcome over coffee and an array of beautifully arranged doughnuts, setting a casual yet productive tone for the day. Attendees gathered for a full day of interactive demos on the Infusion Browser version, where we demonstrated the product’s new functionalities and highlighted the benefits of transitioning to a cloud-based ERP solution.

We introduced several new team members who are poised to elevate our service and product offerings:
- Jourdaine Muloway – Business Development Manager
- Natalie O’Brien – Software Support Consultant
- Ron Snoek – Product Manager (SaaS)
- Norman Jacka – Senior Project Manager
Feature Showcase and Hands-On Experience
During the first day, we shared a comprehensive overview of the developments over the past year. With 13 new features released since last year’s partner conference, partners had the chance to explore these functionalities first-hand, using demo accounts on their laptops. This hands-on approach allowed partners to experiment with recent features, including:

- Purchase Order Re-order (by Min/Max and Sales)

- Serial Numbers
- Refund by Direct Credit

These new tools and functionalities were met with enthusiasm, particularly as they enable our partners to streamline operations, optimise pricing strategies, and manage inventory with greater efficiency.

In the second half of Day 1, we previewed several features in the pipeline, such as pricebooks, updates to cost changes, cost centres, and customer items. This exclusive glimpse provided our partners with a better understanding of how these developments will support their businesses and address customer needs in the coming year.
Day 2: Integration and Growth Strategies
The second day of the conference focused on exploring the power of integrations and API usage in shaping our clients' business models. We discussed the potential of the Infusion API to bridge Infusion with other vital business systems, enhancing functionality and adaptability.
Integration Demos from Leading Providers
- Carlo from NetValue showcased the benefits of integrating Infusion with eCommerce platforms, emphasizing seamless product and order management.
- Crystal Payroll demonstrated payroll integration possibilities with Infusion, offering a solution for streamlined payroll management.
- Malcolm from Barcode Products and Darren from Web Ninja continued the series of integration demos, highlighting tools to improve inventory accuracy and customer engagement.
These sessions underscored the importance of integration in today’s connected digital landscape, enabling partners to offer more versatile solutions to clients.
Marketing Plans and Cloud Migration
Our Business Development Manager, Jourdaine, outlined our marketing strategies for the coming year, aimed at expanding Infusion’s reach and value proposition. We closed the conference with an in-depth discussion on migration processes to the browser version, emphasising our commitment to smooth transitions. Partners were encouraged to enhance their knowledge by enrolling in our detailed migration course available on the Infusion website.
